8:30 am -10:00 am: Family & Guest Breakfast with Austin City Representative

Welcome families and guests! Start the day with a healthy breakfast and learn more about the history of the city and all the activities that Austin, Texas, has to offer.

10:30 am - 3:30 pm: Texas State Capitol and Bullock Texas State History Museum Tour

Please join us for a guided tour of the Texas State Capitol, one of our nation’s most distinguished capitol buildings. We’ll spend a little time in the Texas Capitol Visitors Center before heading to the Bullock Texas State History Museum for a special group tour. Just a few blocks away, this museum houses artifacts and special exhibits along with rare documents and beautiful photographs depicting the state’s fascinating and rich history.

8:30 am - 10:00 am: Family & Guest Breakfast: Let’s have a magical day! A special guest magician is sure to delight and entertain.

10:30 am - 2:30 pm: LBJ Presidential Library Visit

Lyndon Baines Johnson served as the 36th President of the United States from 1963 to 1969. Our guided tour will take us through this rich and eventful period of United States history. This Presidential Library is one of thirteen presidential libraries administered by the National Archives and Records Administration. Sitting proudly on the University of Texas campus, the library was dedicated on May 22, 1971.

8:30 am -10:00 am: Family & Guest Breakfast: Please welcome Dr. Pauline Camacho, AACE President, for a presentation on osteoporosis.

10:30 am - 2:30 pm: Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center Tour

Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is a public botanical garden dedicated to creating a more sustainable earth through research and education. AACE has arranged a visit to showcase the 284 acres of gardens, woodlands and savannas. You’ll want to explore The Wildflower Center’s changing exhibits of visual art and photography, outdoor sculptures, walking trails, formal and research plantings, and educational exhibits. Don't miss the family garden, which connects children and families to the natural work through multiple interactive activities.
