Call for Late-Breaking Abstracts

The Call for Late-Breaking Abstracts will be open from Wednesday, February 8, through Friday, March 17.

The Late-Breaking Abstract Program allows for later submission of new and cutting-edge research. Late-breaking abstract data should be ground breaking research that is innovative and has a high impact factor. All accepted late-breaking abstracts will be published in an online supplement to Endocrine Practice and will be included in the general poster session at the Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas.

Late breaking-Abstracts can be submitted online at am.aace.com/call-for-abstracts beginning February 8th, 2017.

2017-2018 FIT Board Representative Call for Nominations

Have you ever wanted to get involved with a professional society at a national level? Advocate for the interests of endocrine fellows across the country? Learn about the process of developing policies and clinical guidelines?

If so, consider running for the position of Fellows-in-Training Representative on the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists’ (AACE) Board of Directors during the 2017- 2018 Association year. This is an excellent opportunity to actively participate as a full voting member of the Board of Directors. As the FIT representative, you would:

  • Write an article, “The Second Messenger” to be published in six issues of our international publication, The First Messenger
  • Attend quarterly Board meetings, usually a weekend event, i.e., Friday - Sunday*
  • Attend and participate at the 2017 AACE Annual Meeting and Clinical Congress on May 3-7, 2017 in Austin, Tx*
  • Attend Endocrine University® in the capacity as the Board Representative regardless of length of program requirements for attendees
  • Participate on AACE Committees, to better your profession

All applicants must be domestic AACE members in good standing and in an endocrine fellowship during the 2017-2018 Association year.
