Armand Krikorian, MD, FACE, FACP

Armand Krikorian, MD, FACE, FACP is the Internal Medicine residency program director at the University of Illinois at Chicago/ Advocate Christ Medical Center and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Prior to his tenure, he served as Associate Program Director for Internal Medicine at Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio and Assistant Professor of Endocrinology at Case Western Reserve University. He also was the Associate Medical Director for the UH Accountable Care Organization. Dr. Krikorian received his Medical Degree from the American University of Beirut and completed his residency training and fellowship in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism at Case Western Reserve University. He currently serves on the program planning committee of the Association of Program Directors of Internal Medicine and is the past-president of the American Federation of Medical Research. Dr. Krikorian was a co-investigator in the ACCORD study and is published widely in several peer-reviewed journals. He has been recognized by multiple awards locally and nationally and has presented his work on graduate medical education, patient safety and diabetes at numerous national and international conferences.

Ricardo Correa, MD, Es.D

Ricardo Correa, M.D., Es. D., F.A.C.P., C.M.Q. is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Program Director for the Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism of the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix. He is the vice-chair of the CME committee of the AACE. Also he is editor of Dynamed and outreach unit director of Endotext.org and Thyroid manager.
Dr. Correa has been involved in organized medicine since medical school. He has been scientific committee chair and vice speaker for the AMA-RFS, chair of the CoA for the ACP FC, Board of Trustee of the Maryland Medical Society, National Secretary of the CoA for the NHMA, Regional Vice President of the CIR, Medical Education Officer of JDN-WMA. He has been involved with local, regional and national organization in the area of medical education, leadership and physician well-being including the AMA joy in medicine organization, ACGME at different level including the duty hour task force, NBME as part of the board, NBPAS and other organization.
At AACE and ACE, Dr. Correa has occupied different position from been the fellow-in-training board of director member to member and advisor of multiple committees throughout the years.
Dr. Correa has been involved in multiple academic, scientific and educational activities including article Consultant, Interpretation of the Medical Literature Project, NBME, International Committee member of the Committee on publications ethics (COPE), World Association of Medical Editors, Deputy Editor of International Archives of Medicine, Editorial board and peer reviewer of multiple journals including Annals of Public Health, PAHO journal, SGIM journal, International Journal of Endocrinology, and others.
He is board certified in Medical Quality. He is the author of the book title “Case report: basics and publication”. His research is focused on neuroendocrinology mainly on pituitary and adrenal tumor and new genetic mutations.

Reid Litchfield, MA, MD, FACE

Dr. Litchfield was born in Taber, Alberta, Canada. He graduated Suma Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in 1987. He attended Medical School at the University of Calgary and received his MD in 1990. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Calgary before completing his Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston. Dr. Litchfield is the author of more than a dozen scientific publications. Prior to entering private practice he did clinical research in hypertension and adrenal disorders, and received a number awards for his work.

Dr. Litchfield has been a private practice endocrinologist for the last 20 years. He has developed a reputation for his expertise in endocrine practice management, including contract negotiations, practice diversification and marketing. He has successfully implemented broad diversification of his practice that has employed the use of diabetes technology, diabetes education, nuclear medicine, thyroid ultrasound, screening for cardiovascular disease, clinical research, pharmaceutical consulting, expert legal testimony and use of non-physician providers in endocrine practice.

Dr. Litchfield is an Assistant Professor of Endocrinology at Touro University. He is one of the founding members and Past President of the Nevada Chapter of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and currently serves on its Executive. He served two terms on the National Board of Directors of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.

Dr. Jyothi Mamidi Juarez is a solo practicioner in the Houston area. She attended medical school in San Antonio, residency and fellowship in Endocrinology at UTMB Galveston. She worked as faculty at UTMB for several years before starting her own practice. During this time, she has started several facebook groups to help link physicians together in common interests including an Endocrinologists group as well as a Private practice group.

Dr. Mihail “Misha” Zilbermint is an Assistant Professor at the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
He is the Chief and Director of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Suburban Hospital, Johns Hopkins Medicine in Bethesda, MD. He established an Inpatient Diabetes Management Service and helped save his hospital hundreds of thousands of dollars by reducing the length of stay of patients with diabetes. Dr. Zilbermint is currently perusing Masters in Business Administration at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School with the goal of developing hospital-based Endocrine practices.
