Dr. Jad Sfeir is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. He obtained his B.S. and medical degrees from the American University of Beirut. He completed internal medicine residency at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, PA and then joined Mayo Clinic where he completed an endocrinology fellowship. His research focus is studying the effects of aging on bone and mechanisms of targeting cell senescence to prevent age-related bone loss. He is the recipient of multiple awards including most recently the Randall G. Sprague Award for excellence in endocrinology fellowship in April 2018 and the Young Investigator Award from the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research in September 2018.
