Georgette Stratos, PhD is Co-Director of the Stanford Faculty Development Center for Medical Teachers, established at Stanford University School of Medicine in 1985. Using a train-the-trainer model, the SFDC has disseminated programs designed to improve teaching effectiveness to over 15,000 medical teachers internationally over the past 34 years. Dr. Stratos received her PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. Her primary research focus is the development and evaluation of faculty development programs for medical teachers. She presents teaching improvement workshops locally, nationally and internationally.
