She completed her medical degree and residency at Cornell University and The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. She then completed her Endocrinology fellowship at the University of Miami.

Cynthia A. Stuenkel, MD, is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine, and an attending physician for UCSD Endocrinology and Metabolism Service. She attended medical school at the University of Illinois, Chicago, with Residency training at the University of Chicago and the New England Deaconess Hospitals, with Endocrinology training at the Endocrine Hypertension Division of the Brigham and Women’s Hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School, and Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of California, San Diego. In 1988, at UCSD, she established one of the first menopause programs in the US. A Founding Member and Past President of the North American Menopause Society (NAMS), Dr. Stuenkel has contributed to the NAMS Hormone Therapy Position Statements since 2007, including the most recently published in 2017. She chaired the Endocrine Society’s 2015 Clinical Practice Guideline on Treatment of Symptoms of the Menopause and spoke on behalf of the Endocrine Society at the FDA workshop to review the labeling for low dose vaginal estrogen therapies. As a member of the Endocrine Society’s Advocacy and Public Outreach Core Committee, she calls on Capitol Hill Senate and House legislator offices to promote women’s health and NIH-funded medical research. Dr. Stuenkel has participated in AACE regional and national meetings since the turn of the century, and will speak today on “Menopause Management.”

Natan Bar-Chama, MD

Dr. Natan Bar-Chama, director of the Center of Male Reproductive Health at RMA of New York (RMAofNY), is a board certified urologist and male infertility specialist. Following his urology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, he was awarded the New York Academy of Medicine F.C. Valentine Fellowship and sub-specialized in male reproductive medicine and surgery at The Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. For the past 25 years, Dr. Bar-Chama has been the director of male reproductive medicine and surgery and is on faculty in both the Departments of Urology and Obstetrics/Gynecology and Reproductive Science at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Bar-Chama’s practice is exclusively dedicated to the fields of male infertility and sexual medicine, and he has published extensively and lectured throughout the world in these areas. He is the past recipient of a multimillion dollar NIH-RO1 grant looking at whether hormones and sexual function predict cardiac outcomes in men with diabetes. He is past president (2012) of the Society for the Study of Male Reproduction (SSMR) and is currently on the board of directors and is slated to be president of The Society for Male Reproduction and Urology (SMRU) in 2020. For the last 10 years he has served on the board of directors of the patient advocacy organization, Path 2 Parenthood. Annually since 2005, Dr. Bar-Chama has been listed in the prestigious New York Magazine’s Best Doctor list of Urologists.
