Rates for In Room Babysitting 
 

All sits will be charged a four-hour minimum. Babysitter fees will be paid with credit card. Your location may have additional fees, such as parking.

  • For 1 child $32.00 per hour 
  • For 2 children $35.00 per hour 
  • For 3 children $38.00 per hour 
  • For 4 children $41.00 per hour 

Hours between midnight and 8am +$10.00 per hour 
Hours more than 8 total hours +$10.00 per hour 
Time & Half Rate: Easter Day, Memorial Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, 4th of July and Labor Day 
Double Rate: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day to Jan 2nd until 6 am

GENERAL INFO

  • After booking, you can receive more detailed information about your childcare provider.
  • Our babysitters are easily recognizable in their Destination Sitters, LLC polo shirts and photo ID tags.
  • The babysitter will arrive 15 minutes early to make sure you can be on-time and to go over instructions, paperwork, and any consent forms with you.
  • There is a range of experience and interests among the childcare providers. Most of the babysitters are undergraduates or graduate students majoring in nursing or are pre-med. Among our babysitters are also graduate students in areas such as international business, economics, and teaching. We have lifeguards, EMTs, teachers and professional nannies as well as teachers who specialize in children with special needs. Some have taken Child Development classes and all simply love children. We are bilingual in over half a dozen languages. Our sitters’ experience, references, and talents speak for themselves.
  • Our childcare provider will bring games, books, and other age-appropriate toys and activities for the children to your hotel or other destination.
  • Destination Sitters babysitting requests for one-day and only 4 hours must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance of the reserved babysitting start time or a 4-hour minimum charge at the confirmed hourly rate will be charged. For two, three or more multi-day sits of 4 hours each, a 4-hour minimum charge at the confirmed hourly rate will be charged for each day that sits have been booked, unless the sits are cancelled the same number of days in advance.
